The apostle Paul tells us that we are in a spiritual battle:

(Ephesians 6:12) “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

In Revelation 12:17, it shows us that the devil Satan is against God and fights with the children of God who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

In Revelation 14:12, it says "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."

God has promised us that we can stand firm by keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. The secret of patience is keeping the faith of Jesus and the obedience.

In Exodus 20:1-17, God give us the ten commandments:

And God spoke all these words, saying

"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

1. "You shall have no other gods before Me.”

2. "You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments."

3. "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain."

4. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."

5. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you."

6. “You shall not murder."

7. “You shall not commit adultery.”

8. "You shall not steal."

9. "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."

10. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

In the meanwhile, we shall follow the five righteousnesses of the Lord Jesus for keeping the Faith of Him because those righteousnesses are related to salvation.

The five righteousnesses mentioned in the Bible are:

1. Baptism in living water (regenerate from water washing)

2. Receiving the Holy Spirit (regenerate from the Holy Spirit)

3. Footwashing (have part with Jesus)

4. Holy Communion (eat His flesh and drink His blood to have eternal life)

5. Prayer in the Holy Spirit (renewing of the Holy Spirit)

The verses in the Bible mentioning these five righteousnesses are as below:

(Titus 3:5) "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit”

(John 13:8) "Peter said to Him, 'You shall never wash my feet!' Jesus answered him, 'If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.’"

(John 6:53-55) "Then Jesus said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. '

After knowing these five Jesus' righteousnesses, let's look at what the right ways we shall conduct them in line with the teachings of Bible.

Baptism in Living Water:There’re five major elements of full baptism in accordance with the truth in the Bible. Only the baptism in line with these five elements has the effect of washing away the sins.

1. The baptist shall have received the Holy Spirit (can speak in tongue)

2. The baptist shall baptize the believer in the name of the Lord Jesus

3. The baptism shall be held in the living water

4. The believer who takes the baptism shall immerse into the living water

5. The believer shall bow down head and face down when immersing into the living water

This is for fulfilling sin offering, which purify our sins and grants us grace of being sanctified and justified.

Receiving the Holy Spirit: Receiving the Holy Spirit is that the Holy Spirit descend on us when we pray for it, and we can speak in tongue once after we receive it. The spiritual meaning of our receiving the Holy Spirit is that we regenerate from the Holy Spirit. This is for fulfilling burnt offering, which grants us the capability of purifying our trespass and keeping us renewed in the Christ. Only being guided by the Holy Spirit can we work out our own salvation. And the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance in the heaven.

Footwashing: Footwashing is for fulfilling trespass offering, which makes us completely clean and have part of the Lord Jesus. Bible tells us that he who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean. On the way to the kingdom of heaven, we shall imitate Jesus and serve Him with all humility for being sanctified and completed.

Holy Communion: Holy communion is for fulfilling grain offering. Giving thanks to the Lord Jesus, we eat His flesh and drink His blood by receiving unleavened bread and fruit of the vine. This is for us to have the image and life of the lamb of God, and memorize the death of the Lord Jesus. We are in Him, and He is in us, so we can grow to the measure of the stature of Christ, and honor the Lord Jesus.

Prayer in the Holy Spirit: Prayer in the Holy Spirit is praying by speaking in tongue, which is for fulfilling peace offering. Prayer in Holy Spirit helps us communicate with our Heavenly Father, get His help in time of needs, have peace from Him, and get renewed from Him so that we can work out our own salvation and offer fragrance in the Holiest of All. Prayer in the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongue must last a lifetime then we can get the capability from the Holy Spirit to continuously renew ourselves and go on to perfection.

Hallelujah Amen.
